New Hawker Pacific FBO Lands in Top End Australia

24 January 2018 –Darwin, Australia - Hawker Pacific, the leading aviation solutions provider in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, is pleased to add to its extensive network of Fixed Base Operations (FBOs) with the opening of Darwin. Set to open in February 2018, the Darwin FBO will be the ninth for Hawker Pacific, whose award-winning facilities encompass the largest network of its kind in Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

Hawker Pacific Vice President FBO, Graham Owen, says for many years there has been interest in opening a facility in Darwin and the time has finally arrived.

“The growing demand from private and corporate aviation into Darwin as well as our close relationship with a number of large operators in the region, has at this time given us the impetus to open this facility in Darwin,” says Graham.

“We are confident that the Darwin FBO will deliver the same world-class facilities and customer service that the rest of our network is known for.

Being one of the most northern transit ports in Australian aviation, the new FBO facility offers Hawker Pacific’s clients the opportunity to re-fuel and refresh after long flights domestically and internationally.

“Hawker Pacific operates the largest network of FBOs across Asia and Australia, and by adding our new Darwin FBO provides Hawker Pacific clients a choice for their first point of entry into the northern territory of Australia,” says Graham.

“We are very excited about operating in Darwin and have had great support from the Darwin International Airport team during the setup process.”

The new Hawker Pacific FBO will be ready to receive the first customer flights towards the end of February 2018 with the capabilities to include corporate and private traffic as well as military and heavy aircraft.

“Hawker Pacific is focused on ensuring we continue to meet growing demand in this segment of the market and further cement our position as the leading Fixed Base Operator in the region,” concluded Graham.
