Hawker Pacific Says Bell To Lead The Way At 2-13 Heli-Expo

Hawker Pacific, leading aircraft, sales and product support company in Asia, Pacific and the Middle East, is looking forward to an exciting Bell Helicopter presence at the HAI Heli-Expo 2013, the world’s largest helicopter trade show and exposition, which starts today in Las Vegas.

Bell Helicopter, a Textron Inc. company of which Hawker Pacific is the sole representative of in Australia and New Zealand, will be showcasing a number of aircraft and will make new announcements including model improvements and additions to the Bell product range.

To kick-off Day 1, Bell Helicopter announced an upgrade to the new Bell 412EPI, which improves the Bell 412EP platform with the Bell BasiX ProTM fully integrated glass flight deck, providing critical flight information at a glance for greater situational awareness and safety. Bell also introduced the brand new Bell 407GT, the armed version of the Bell 407GX, which incorporates the Bell 407 platform with the Garmin G1000HTM flight deck, and can be equipped with infrared cameras, light munitions and precision weapons systems.

Bell Helicopter will also host Mission Theater, a series of thirty-minute briefings at the Expo, highlighting the manufacturer’s plans in leading the rotor industry and value-adds for customers and partners. The manufacturer will provide updates on the Bell 525 Relentless, which launched one year ago, and will hold Bell 429 and Bell 407GX demonstrations daily.

Tony Jones, Hawker Pacific’s Senior Vice President, Aircraft Sales Group said: “There are good reasons for optimism in the global helicopter industry right now, and many of them will be highlighted at this year’s HAI Heli-Expo. Bell Helicopter is literally leading the technological rejuvenation in the industry, and there is no better place to showcase what they can do at the largest and most important helicopter event in the world. We are proud to represent Bell Helicopter and are pleased to reiterate our commitment to providing the best service and support for our customers and future customers. We look forward to continuing to grow our relationship with Bell Helicopter as we expand our operations across the region.”

Hawker Pacific very recently announced the sale of a new Bell 429 Helicopter to a commercial operator in New Zealand, which will join an existing rotary fleet for business and VIP transport, for delivery next year. The sale, according to Hawker Pacific, reflects the resurgence in enquiries for new aircraft as well as in pre-owned aircraft, across the Asia-Pacific region.

Hawker Pacific is looking forward to further initiatives and announcements in the rotary sector at the 2013 Heli-Expo in Las Vegas from 5-7 March 2013. The Expo will host 20,000 industry professionals, more than 650 competitive exhibitors, over 60 helicopters on display and more than 50 educational opportunities, including education courses, seminars, workshops and forums.
